I had the pleasure of colabrating with a good friend Jon Woodbury on this project. He contacted me about drawing a starcraft marine armor on the top a photo for a graduation portrait. It was a lot of fun doing something like this. I think it turned out really nicely. Jon Woodbury is a fantastic photographer. I would check his stuff out and keep him in mind if you ever need something done! Here is his blog he wrote about the project as well.

Here I am again playing with my iPad. My wife loves these little flowers. So I played around with some techniques and this is the result. I showed it to my wife and she said..."I would hang that in my house." That makes me think I am headed in the right direction. Tell me what you think? You can find this in the Fine Art - Still Life section because I dont have a section for digital - still life. When I get enough painting maybe I will create one. I just posted a new drawing in the Fine Art - Portraits section. This is Grandma and Grandpa Dumas. I never knew grandpa he passed before my time. From what I have heard about him he was a quite man and did not smile much. I took the liberty of giving him a little bit of a smile. I think he was smirking a little bit down from heaven while I drew this. Grandma Dumas is a wonderful woman. She is always so thoughtful, loving and giving. She greets me with a kiss every time she sees me. Lena and I enjoy going to breakfast with her when we visit her in St George. It was a joy to draw them both! |
